Autumn/Winter 2015 Skincare routine Part II

Hey everyone, how are we all doing? I hope all is well. Weather is still horrible in Melbourne, it is going to be beautiful from tomorrow onwards, can’t wait to go under the sun. =)

Let’s start part 2 of the autumn/winter skincare.
As for essence, I am using Estee Lauder’s MicroEssence. I didn’t like it at first, but after using it consistently for a few months, I really love it. It has thicker consistency and it is perfect for autumn and winter, I used it during summer as well and it is surprisingly refreshing. This product is currently replacing my SKII Facial Treatment Essence. I use it after my Jurlique’s Balancing Rosewater Mist and before serum.

As for Serum, I am currently rotating between SKII’s Stempower essence and Cellumination aura essence. Stem power essence is super hydrating, i fell like waking up to a more hydrated skin everytime I use it. Two pumps day, night. If I layer it with Cellumination aura essence, I will layer it after that.

Cellumination Aura Essence is next. this is a huge investment as well because this is not cheap. Oh dear me, 2 pumps day and night, I normally use 1.5 pumps as 2 is too much for my face. More radiant and less dullness. It really helps with scarring as well (acne scarring), it clears scarring really quickly and give you that beautiful aura. Whitening spot specialist is less hydrating than Cellumination aura essence so make sure you pair it with another hydrating serum after use. Some youtubers actually mix a pump of cellumination aura essence with their foundation to create that natural radiant look. I hvnt tried that personally but will in the future. Bloggers like Raeview from and my dear friend Lilian has reviewed them as well. It is a good serum overall as SK II has improved this formula last year. I will repurchase this product in set when available. (Both SKII’s Stempower and Cellumination Aura are replacing my Lancome’s Genifique and Vissionaire combo)

Kiehl’s Midnight recovery concentrate is next. I use this as a face oil when I am lazy to use serum. It has a soothing smell, promotes sleep and you will love your skin when you wake up the next morning. i normally do 2-3 drops during night time after essence and before moisturiser.

Thanks for reading,
I hope everyone has had a great weekend.
