Yes I do apply make up every time I go to work. At the end of the day, I make sure I take off my make up properly so skincare I apply afterwards can be absorbed better.
I am a huge fan of cleansing oil and has been using it for the past few years. I then can across makeup remover cleansing towelettes and miscellar cleansing water.
1) micellar cleansing water is I think the latest make up remover that was developed. I tried it not long ago and love it. It leaves me skin smooth and clean. I normally use my Clarisonic after removing my make up and when I use my Clarisonic I am surprised as there was no make up traces on the brush head. Will I repurchase it? Yes I will. I got it for $6 at Coles when it was on sale. Normally retailed at $12. 400 mls? Such a good buy.
2) Sulwashoo gentle cleansing oil is my latest beauty purchase. (Yes it has been a while as I was sooo busy and have other interests as well). Bought it for $62 and am looking forward to use it.
3) neutrogena’s make up remover cleansing towelettes, I was anti cleansing wipes as you need to wipe away the make up with force and it may cause some damage to your skin. I only use this when I am in a hurry to take off my make up. It causes slight redness to my face but I don’t really mind when I am in a hurry. (Tips: get it on sale)
4)shu uemura’s anti/oxi cleansing oil. Shu uemura’s cleansing oil is one of the best cleansing oil around. I have used several bottles already and will continue using it. 3 pumps every time and it has been working well for me. $36 if I am not mistaken.
